9431 32 Channel 16 Bit Digital to Analog Converter Module With Front Panel Data Port
 
The 9431 Analog Output Module is a Digital to Analog Conversion Board with interfaces to the VMEbus and the Front Panel Data Port. The module provides 32 individual D/A channels each with 16 bit resolution. The full scale voltage output may be configured as ±10V, ±5V, ±2.5V, 0-10V, 0-5V, or 0-2.5V.*
 
9432 32 Channel 16 Bit Conduction Cooled Digital to Analog Converter Module
 
The 9432 Analog Output Module is a special version of the 9431 module, very similar to its predecessor but made with conduction cooled materials and with a full scale voltage output configured as ±2.5V.*
 
9433/34 8 Channel 12-16 Bit Digital to Analog Outputs Converter Module
 
The Merlin 9433/34 Analog Output Module is a VMEbus slave card providing analog output capabilities. The 12-bit or 16-bit DACs provide high reliability output levels for the 8 opto-isolated analog outputs. These outputs can be configured individually for ±10V, ±5V, ±2.5V in differential mode operation or 0-10V, 0-5V in single ended mode operation and for the 9434 version the current loop range goes from 4 to 20 mA.

The 9421 Analog Input Module is an Analog to Digital Conversion Board with interfaces to the VMEbus and the Front Panel Data Port. The module provides 32 individual A/D channels each with 12 bit resolution. The full scale voltage input may be configured as ±10V, ±5V, ±2.5V, 0-10V, 0-5V, or 0-2.5V.*
 
9422 32 Channel 16 Bit Analog to Digital Converter Module With Front Panel Data Port
 
The 9422 A/D Module is a drop in replacement for the 9421 A/D Module offering 16 bit resolution. As with the 9421 it provides 32 channels, Front Panel Data Port, and a user specified full scale input range.
 
9424 32 Channel 12-16 Bit Analog to Digital Converter Module
 
The Merlin 9424 Analog I/O Module is a VMEbus slave card providing analog I/O capabilities. It can be ordered in the 12-bit or in the 16-bit version with a high precision analog-to-digital conversion for 16 single ended or 8 differential opto-isolated analog inputs. These inputs can be configured individually for either ±10V or ±5V in differential mode operation or 0-10V in single ended mode operation.
 
9425 64 Channel 16 Bit Analog to Digital Converter Module
 
The 9425 Analog Input Module is an Analog to Digital Conversion Board with interfaces to the VMEbus and the Front Panel Data Port. The module provides 64 single ended or differential multiplexed A/D channels each with 16 bit resolution. The full scale voltage input may be configured as ±10V, ±5V, ±2.5V, 0-10V or 0-5V.*

9460 6 Channel 16 Bit Quadrature Encoder Module
 
The 9460 Quadrature Encoder Module is a 6 channels board with 16-bit counters for decoding of quadrature signals. The Merlin 9460 can generate overflows for the user to virtually count beyond the 16-bit counters and receive index pulses to keep track of certain relevant positions within the counters. The board can be configured for single ended (max. input voltage ±15V) or differential operation (max. diff. input voltage ±25V).
 
9461 8Channel 32 Bit Quadrature Encoder Module
 
The 9461 Quadrature Encoder Module is a 8 channels board with 32-bit counters for decoding of quadrature signals. Synchro to Digital Conversion
 
9622 6 Channel 16 Bit Synchro to Digital Converter Module
 
The 9622 Synchro/Digital Module is a Four or Six Channel Synchro/Digital Converter unit  interface to the VMEbus. The unit is capable of operating at carrier frequencies of 60Hz and 400Hz. The user may configure the unit for 10, 12, 14, or 16 bit resolution. The maximum tracking rate is 26 rps.

The 9312 is a relay driver board capable of switching 64 high current output channels simultaneously. It can be ordered in non-isolated or isolated versions.

9310 Isolated Digital I/O Module (Preliminary)
 
The 9310 Isolated Digital I/O Board is a single VMEBus compatible module offering 64 inputs and 64 outputs. The output and input voltages are user specified up to 50V and are optically isolated up to 2500V. Each output can supply up to 1/2 amp continuously.

9850 Serial I/O Module
 
The 9850 Serial I/O Module provides four independent full duplex channels VMEBus interfaced, each capable of operating at several rates: 9600, 19200, 38400, 76800, 115200. The user may configure each channel for the different protocols: RS-232, RS-422, RS-485 and so for the several operation modes and interrupt handling.

9531 8 Mbyte SRAM Module With BidirectionalFront Panel Data Port
 
The 9531 FPDP SRAM Module is an 8 Mbyte memory board with interfaces to the VMEbus and the Front Panel Data Port. The Front Panel Data Port may be configured to either send or receive data.

The Merlin VME Serial Protocol Command Translator or SPCT is a generic device that allows users to interface their existing serial interface to new equipment without any changes to wiring or software, solving problems of translation in baud rates, connector types and connector pin-outs between the master and slave equipment.

The Merlin VME GPIB/Serial Protocol Command Translator or GPIB-SPCT is a generic device that provides a transparent bridge between an IEEE-488 port and an RS232/RS485 port, solving problems of translation in baud rates, connector types and connector pin-outs between the master and slave equipment.

Arbitrary Waveform Generator
 
The AWG is a solution given from the combination of one or more Merlin FPDP RAM modules, Merlin FPDP D/A converters and one CPU with hard and floppy drives, all connected to the same VME bus. The Merlin AWG software provides an easy menu-driven interface to assist the user in generating the desired waveform and the current design supports up to 256 channels and 64 Mbytes of RAM.
 
9120 Temperature Control Box
 

The Merlin 9120 - Temperature Control Box is a solution to collect temperature data from several Merlin Temp. Probes. Each port in the board can connect up to 16 probes at a time and the box has a total of 6 ports. This device communicates with the computer by either a USB port or an Ethernet port and the control software is included.

 
Merlin Temp. Probes
 
1-wire temperature probes to collect data from any equipment that the customer wishes to supervise. The operation limits are: -55 to 125ºC and the data resolution is 12 bits.
